Your data stays in your shop. Your stock, recounts and orders live in your own shop's database. Warecastle doesn't keep a copy on its servers.

Up and running in three steps

1

Install the module

Add the Warecastle connector module to your shop. It reads your products, stock and orders, and writes back only small stock updates.

2

We set it up with you

Together we map your warehouses, product groupings and devices, so it matches how your shop is organised.

3

Open it on any phone

Add it to the home screen from the browser. No app store, no special hardware. The phone's camera is the scanner.

Made for the people on the warehouse floor

Six things warehouse staff do every day, made simple.

Scan to find or verify

Scan a barcode with the phone camera to jump to a product, or to confirm you're holding the right one. Each product can carry two barcodes, for example the original and a local one.

Count with accountability

Count against expected stock. Every difference needs a short written reason before it saves, so it gets explained while people still remember. Closing a recount updates your shop and emails the report.

Receive, move and log

Receive deliveries, move stock to another warehouse, and log breakages or expiries with a reason. Every movement records what, why, who handed it over and who received it.

Several warehouses, honest stock

Track stock in more than one place, and mark which locations can actually ship orders. Stock in a place that can't ship never counts as sellable.

Pick orders without mistakes

A read-only list of orders with product photos, sizes, backorder flags and tap-to-call. Staff tick items off as they pick. The status itself stays in your shop admin.

You stay in control

Staff are the users, but you decide what their app can do. Each phone only gets the options you give it: which screens, which warehouse, and whether it can take stock out.

Coming soon: change a phone's options remotely, from your own phone.

See it in action

Big targets, clear colours, one job per screen. Designed for gloves, glare and a rugged phone.

Born in a real warehouse

Warecastle started as the internal tool of an e-commerce shop that ships from a third-party fulfilment warehouse. Every screen was tested by the people doing the counting, on rugged phones, before it was shown to anyone else.

How Warecastle compares

Warecastle is a small branch of your shop, and your shop stays the source of truth. It isn't an ERP and doesn't try to be.

Questions

Do I need to install an app?

No app store needed. You open Warecastle in the phone's browser and add it to the home screen. On iPhone, use Safari's Share menu and choose "Add to Home Screen". The app can't send alerts while it's closed.

Does it change my shop's stock?

Yes. Recounts and stock movements update your shop's sellable stock for locations marked as able to ship. Stock held in locations that can't ship stays out of your shop's count.

Where is my data kept?

Your stock, recount and order data stays in your own shop's database. Our servers deliver the app and pass requests through to your shop, and they don't keep a copy of your data. We only keep your account details: name, email, shop address and plan.

Which shop platforms are supported?

PrestaShop today. WooCommerce and Shopify are in progress, so tell us which one you need and vote for it in the waitlist form.

Can you customise it for us?

Yes. Custom fields, extra reports and connections to other tools are built by our partner developers and billed by the hour.
